Data access and security
Who can see your HealthID information
Access depends on the information involved and how a practitioner chooses to share it. Public profiles, verification cards, organisation dashboards and platform administration each have different access boundaries.
Public profiles and verification cards
A public profile can be viewed without signing in when a practitioner switches it on. Basic, Detailed and Complete verification cards expose different fields; Complete cards can include links to uploaded supporting documents.
Administrative and organisation access
Authorised HealthID administrators can access submitted credential records and documents for credential review, support, security and service operation. Organisation owners and administrators can view member credential status and expiry dates, but their dashboard does not provide uploaded credential files.
Verification remains the recipient’s responsibility
HealthID does not replace checks against official registers or an employer’s credentialing duties. Anyone reviewing shared information should apply the checks required for their role and circumstances.
